Today is my 21st birthday!
Mike took me out to dinner~ We went to Houlihan's in Westbury.
A horrible photo, but it's the only one of me with my first legal drink~ a strawberry mojito! Our waiter didn't even ask to see my ID, it was anticlimactic and I was kind of disappointed haha..
I ordered Tuscany Lemon Chicken~ it looks icky here but it was super yums!

I got presents too! Mike gave me cute stud earrings and a gift card for a shopping spree~ Permission to drag him around shopping with me, yay!
My mom gave me this "Always 21" pendant necklace, and along with it she gave me a note~
"Your great-grandma Millie & I shared our birthday and so much more. On my 21st birthday she gave this to me along with the story of how great-grandpa Joe gave it to her. He gave it to her on her birthday and told her that whatever her age, she would always be 21 in his heart. It has been mine for 30 years, waiting for this day to give it to you. Wear it always in good health, happiness, and love until maybe someday you will have a little girl to give it to."
I love it! It was really sweet, and I love the history that comes with it. I feel really lucky to have it.
Thanks to my friends & family for all the birthday wishes, and thanks to my boyfriend for a wonderful day! Being 21 is great so far~
Happy birthday! The story that comes along with the necklace is so sweet! My family doesn't have anything like that so I'm quite jealous! Perhaps I will start something with my own child in the future! ^^
