New Year Resolutions

Happy new year everybody!  2010 has gone by so incredibly fast.

I want 2011 to be my best year yet, so for the first time ever I'm making new year resolutions to help me out & keep me on track!

1. Always wash my face before bed.  Not only is it terrible for my skin to go to bed with makeup on, but I sleep so much better with a clean face!  It's so nice waking up feeling refreshed, rather than with eyes glued shut & face feeling icky.

2.  Take all of my pills, every day.  I'm going to start carrying them around with me so that I don't forget.  I've had my monthly visitor way too many times this past year due to skipped pills.  Also, they keep my skin looking good!

 3.  Wake up early.  I'm late for work almost every day.  I need to work really hard on waking up early and getting to work on time!

4.  Save money.  This is a huge one!  I get by just fine with the money that I make, but I really need to cut out unnecessary spending so that I can put some money aside for the future & emergencies!

5.  Attend all of my classes.  My attendance this past semester was horrible.  Luckily I managed to pass my classes, but my grades dropped a decent amount.  I have to just suck it up and go to class when I'm supposed to!

6.  Do all of my schoolwork.  Again, I did manage to pass my classes but I had some trouble with missing schoolwork.  Especially for my online class, I was just to lazy to do it.  I really need to just sit the fuck down and do it!

7.  Take more pictures.  I love pictures.  When I look at my "2010 Pictures" folder, it is significantly larger than the previous years but it's still not enough.  I need to take more more more!

8.  Make more time for friends.  I have gotten better at this lately, but there were still a lot of times that I just didn't feel like going out so I passed up on fun times with friends.  I want to go lots of places and do lots of things with my friends this year!

9.  Be more understanding of Mike.  His schoolwork is extremely time consuming, and I can't get upset with him every time that a film shoot takes longer than expected or he has to spend an extra day at school editing.  I really need to be more understanding of the fact that he's busy & works really hard, he can't be with me 24/7.  I'm really proud of the work that he does and I'm happy he's found something that he likes to do.  I want to be supportive so that we can continue to have an amazing relationship~

10.  Have a beautiful year.  I've really learned a lot about makeup and made improvements in my wardrobe this past year.  I want to continue to get even better, and make 2011 my most beautiful year yet!

I'm so excited to ring in the new year with family & friends tonight!

What are your new year's eve plans?  Are you making new year resolutions too?

Christmas Purikura

Yesterday was my friend Kevin's last day in America~ We decided to spend the morning in Flushing, doing some shopping and taking purikura!

I meant to bring santa hats for us to wear but I forgot, oh well...

Afterwards we exchanged gifts and then Mike & I took Kevin to the airport for his flight back home to Holland.  I've had a really great time this week hanging out with Kev, I was sad to see him go.  I hope that we'll hang out again someday!

Now I'm ready for some time off to relax from school & work.  And I'm super excited for opening Christmas presents of course!!

Merry Christmas hotties!!  Hope you all have a wonderful day and get everything that you wish for~

Welcome to New York

I had such a fun weekend!  My friend Kevin is visiting from Holland~

Three years ago I actually used to be an avid online gamer!  I met Kevin while playing RF Online, and even though we no longer play, we've been friends ever since!

We finally met for the first time this weekend, when Kevin arrived at Penn Station on Saturday.  Mike and I went to pick him up, and then brought him back to Mike's place where we were having a little get together with some friends.  We taught Kevin how to play American drinking games like beer pong and flip cup, which he thought were ridiculous but he was actually really good at them.  It was super fun!

On Sunday we had NY bagels for breakfast, and then I took Kevin shopping at Roosevelt Field mall.  We also went to see TRON, it was pretty cool!  We went back to Mike's for a home-cooked meal made by Mike's mom, and then decided to stay in watching movies & playing video games since it was so cold out.

I was so exhausted from all of the excitement of the weekend that yesterday I completely overslept to the point where I was going to be really late for work.  So I decided to be a bad girl and skip~ I went to hang out with Mike & Kevin and we watched "16 and Pregnant" on MTV.  Later on we went to Flushing~

I convinced Kevin to take purikura with me!

Afterwards we went to Ajisen for dinner!  I got sukiyaki ramen & a bubble tea~

 Yums!

I also ran into the lovely gals Malia, Catze, and Carol at Ajisen!  It was a nice surprise to see them.  Of course we snapped a photo together!

Then Mike, Kevin, and I headed into Manhattan to see the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center.  I've seen it before, but never so close!  We were actually standing right next to it, looking all the way up to the top.  It was really beautiful~

Seeing the tree really put me in the Christmas spirit!

I've been having a lot of fun with Kevin, I'm so glad that he came to New York!  I'm going to be sad when he leaves on Friday~ until then, we'll keep having fun!

Skin Food's Agave Cactus Cream

It's gotten really cold here in New York...we've had our first snow already!

All I wanna do these days is curl up in bed.  I've been so lazy lately, at night I just crawl into bed without washing my face...which is pretty stupid of me because it's wreaking havoc on my skin and I've got breakouts all over now!

So the other night I used a new and aggressive acne spot treatment.  When I woke up, my pimples were gone but my skin was super dry, itchy, and visibly irritated.

Not knowing what to do about my bright red burning face, I reached into my stock of Skin Food samples and pulled out the Agave Cactus Cream.

Skin Food to the rescue!!

"Containing extracts from Agave, also known as Nature's Reservoir, this light-textured cream rests skin with abundant moisture and nourishment for a more vibrant texture."

You may find this hard to believe, but...upon applying this cream, the redness disappeared instantly right before my eyes!  The lightweight gel formula cooled and moisturized my skin, it felt so nice~

It also fully absorbed into my skin, leaving me free to apply my makeup with no worries.

Overall: 5/5

What an amazing product!  When I tried the sample of this product that I received with a purchase from skinfoodbestprice on eBay, I knew that I just had to buy it~
