My First Zipia.net Order

My Zipia.net order has arrived!  This was my first time ordering from there~

Zipia.net is a wholesale Asian clothing website selling trendy & unique clothing; very similar to Yesstyle.com, one of my favorite webshops.  The prices are pretty cheap, but the minimum order amount is $300.  So unless you're planning on spending that much, it's best to make a group order.  I ordered with Ain & Izzie!

Here's my haul!
I  love Mickey Mouse!  I really like the vintage feel of the graphic~
"Cutest of Cupcakes" - because I am the cutest!
Love these shorts!  They're super distressed and cut really short, so I feel sexy when wearing them~
These don't fit as well as I'd like them to (I'm hoping they'll shrink a little when I wash them), and they're a lighter color than I expected.  I'm still in need of some jet-black super skinny jeans...
And a bonus!  Ain ordered these for herself but they didn't fit, so she was nice enough to give them to me!  These pants are so super cool, they're slashed all the way down the front~  I haven't really figured out what to wear them with just yet, but I can't wait to put together an awesome outfit!

So overall, I'm pretty happy with this order!  I'd definitely recommend Zipia.net~

I wanna make another order ASAP!

Sunday Fun

I'm sorry it's been so long since I last blogged!  I've been super busy with summer classes & work~   I can't believe it's almost July already!
Yesterday I hung out with Izzie and Ain.  I went to Ain's house for the first time and read some of her many Japanese fashion magazines while she put her beautiful face on.  I was hoping to meet her cat, Mow Mow, but he was hiding the whole time...
We got lunch at Taco Bell (yums) and then hung around Flushing.  We went into some of the cute Korean shops around Queens Crossing like Valentine and Morning Glory.  It was super hot yesterday, so we all bought these cute animal-shaped fans.  Izzie got a seal, Ain got a cow, and I got a cat~

I also bought a cute little Hello Kitty notebook to use as a purikura sticker book.  I stayed up until 2AM last night putting all of my puri stickers in, I can't wait to fill it up with pictures of my friends & I!

Later on we met up with Eden and Yi at Toto's for purikura.  Ain, Eden, and Yi were all going to a Miyavi concert that night in NYC, so Ain & Eden were dressed up in their school girl uniforms.  They looked so cute, I totally want a uniform too!

Here are some of our shots:

Purikura is so much fun!

I'm a believer!

I'm learning something new about makeup every day!  I have a new found love for makeup and a desire to acquire more & more!  I've been watching tutorials, and making wish lists~

I've never been one to use a primer.  I thought that primers were just for professionals, makeup gurus, & perfectionists.  Boy did I get a funny look from my friends when I told them I don't use primer!

So I decided to try Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer Potion.  It came highly recommended from Erin & Eden, and it had tons of great reviews.

I used it yesterday for the first time (these pictures aren't the greatest, I didn't have a lot of time yesterday):

(isn't the packaging so cute?)

Eyes:
Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion
L'Oreal Paris Eyeshadow in Frosted Icing
Covergirl Dance Party Eyeshadow Palette
Avon Perfect Wear Liquid Eyeliner in Black
NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil in Lavender
NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil in Cottage Cheese
NYX Eyeliner Pencil in White
Avon Professional Kohl Eyeliner in Black
Maybelline Lash Stiletto Mascara in Very Black
NYX Fabulous Lashes - 112

Face:
Covergirl Liquid Foundation in Creamy Natural
Bare Minerals Mineral Veil
NYX Concealer Stick in Porcelene
NYX Rouge Cream Blush in Boho Chic

Lips:
Smashbox Lip Enhancing Gloss in Pout (this is my new favorite gloss!

I've been using Covergirl's Dance Party Eyeshadow Palette for years to do my everyday makeup for school & work.  It usually disappears after an hour or two, leaving only a little bit of shimmer.

Yesterday was very hot and humid.  I went to class for a few hours, then went to work where I was sweating my ass off the entire time.  I hopped on a train right after work and went to a concert (Terrible Things, Story of the Year, and Anberlin - AWESOME show!! ) where I jumped around, danced, and sang my heart out for hours.

I came home a little after 11PM and looked into the mirror to see that my hair was completely dead, but my eyeshadow was still there!!

Not only did it stay put all day without creasing, the color of the eyeshadow was more vibrant than I've ever seen (it doesn't really show up in the photos though)!  Even Mike noticed a difference~

So now I am definitely a firm believer in primer.  It really works!

I've decided to put a ban on myself buying clothes~ (okay, there's still one more order from Zipia that I'm waiting on...but after that I'm done for a while!)  Instead, I'm gonna work on building my makeup collection.  I'm obsessed!
