NYX's Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencils

Since NYX's Glitter Mania Jumbo pencils weren't quite what I was expecting, I went over to my local Essentials shop and picked up some of NYX's Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencils.  I'd never even been in this store before, nor did I know that they sold NYX products, until the last time I went to the mall with Eden, Ain, & Erin!

From left to right: Cottage Cheese (Who the heck named this one?!  I'm gonna put some cottage cheese on my face FML), Strawberry Milk, Lavender, Purple, Pacific, and Baby Blue.

I am in love with these pencils!!

These are exactly what I wanted!  They're so creamy, and the colors are so concentrated.  They're really easy to blend too!  Here's what I did with them today: (my first attempt at taking makeup photos, it's much harder than I thought )

After applying lashes and a quick attempt at curling hair (my boss called me and told me to come into work early just as I was in the middle of curling ):

Eyes:
L'Oreal Paris Eyeshadow in Frosted Icing
NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil in Cottage Cheese
NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil in Pacific
NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil in Purple
NYX Eyeliner Pencil in White
Avon Professional Kohl Eyeliner in Black
Maybelline Lash Stiletto Mascara in Very Black
Ardell Fashion Lashes - 124

 Face:
Covergirl Liquid Foundation in Creamy Natural
Bare Minerals Bronzer in Warmth
NYX Concealer Stick in Porcelene
NYX Rouge Cream Blush in Boho Chic

Lips:
Avon Ultra Color Rich Lipstick in Sheer Naturale
Stila Lip Glaze in Kitten

I rarely use much color in my makeup looks, so this was pretty different for me!  What do you think?

And I know - I have so many wonderful NYX lashes now, so why am I using Ardell?!  I can't help it, I love my Ardell lashes so much!  They're easy enough to put on and comfortable enough to wear on a daily basis.  The 124's are really natural looking too, so they're perfect for everyday wear!

I can't wait to try out some fun color combinations with these pencils~

NYX's Bundle of Joy

NYX Cosmetics, one of my favorite make up brands, just had a huge sale~  They were selling bundles of products for really cheap, up to 80% off!
I opted for Bundle #3, Fabulous Lashes & Bundle #4, Glitter Mania Jumbo Pencils.  My order finally arrived yesterday, here's my haul:

23 pairs of Fabulous Lashes!!

Here are some of my favorites:

I can't wait to try them all out, especially the lower lashes!

16 Glitter Mania Jumbo Pencils!!

These aren't quite what I expected.  I thought they'd be creamy, pigmented eye pencils with a little bit of glitter...but they're really JUST glitter pencils, with no pigment.  It makes having my NYX Glitterati Cream Palette kind of redundant.  I do recommend these glitter pencils over NYX's glitter cream palettes though.  The pencils glide on so easily, and they offer a lot more control!

I got all of this great stuff for $30!  What an awesome sale!  Unfortunately it's over now~

Now I just need to find a place to store all of this...

Fun, Fun, Fun

I've been hanging out with members of my circle, Mix & Match!
I went to my first meet last weekend~  I went with Malia, Eden, Erin, and Sami to Duet 48 in Manhattan for karaoke.   That was pretty fun, even though I felt deathly shy the whole time.  We sang "Dance, Dance" by Fall Out Boy and "Bad Romance" by Lady Gaga, among many others but those were my favorites.  I'm sure next time at karaoke will be a lot more fun, and I'd really like to go with all of my different groups of friends as well!  Afterwards we went back to Flushing for purikura at Toto's, where Karou met up with us.  I look so bad in all of them though, that machine just totally whites me out!
Later that week I went to a sleepover at Erin's house, where I met Ain and Mei for the first time.  It was such a great time!  It was really nice getting to know everyone a little better.  We had hot pot for dinner, with ramen, eggs, mushrooms, tofu, and dumplings~ so delicious!
This weekend I met up with Eden, Erin, & Ain and drove them back to Long Island.  We went to Roosevelt Field mall for purikura~ I like that machine so much better than the one at Toto's, it makes me look so much prettier & the background options are so much more fun!  The only downside though, was that the decorating pens weren't working at all.  But we still got some really cute pictures!

After purikura we went to Stan's Safari, a pet store nearby.  It was really cute~   so many adorable animals!  I fell in love with the kittens, I can't wait to get one of my own someday!  You can see pictures from our visit to the pet store at Eden's blog.
I've been having a lot of fun lately.  I'm so happy to have made such cool new friends, and I can't wait to hang out more!

Target Shopping Haul

I went to Target the other day with the purpose of looking for boots, but I got totally sidetracked by cute things and never even made it to the shoe section!

Finally some cute bikinis!  The past few summers I waited too long into the season to go bikini shopping, and when I finally went all that was left were ugly size XXL ones~

Acid washed shorts!  I love the look of destroyed denim, I thought these were really cool.

I love the colors on this tank top!  It makes me think of italian ices~

I'm really into florals right now, I couldn't resist this gorgeous camisole!

I'm so ready for summer!
