Mix & Match - NYC Nagosa

     I've joined Mix & Match, a New York City nagosa!  They're a great bunch of gals. Who is Hachi?

     My name is Lynnette. I am a 20 year-old girl born and raised on Long Island, New York. My main interests are fashion, art, and music.
     I'm really into Japanese fashion, particularly gyaru-kei, hime-kaji, and haady-gyaru. I love dresses, skirts, heels, leopard print, glitter, and glamour. Juicy Couture, Liz Lisa, Tralala, Golds Infinity, Cocolulu, JSG, and Hollister are some of my favorite brands.
     I'm completely addicted to things that are pink.  I try to surround myself with cute, pink things at all times. It just makes me happy!
     I like anime and manga, although I've kinda outgrown it a bit. I do still watch some anime from time to time. My favorite anime right now is One Piece.
     My nickname, Hachiko, comes from the anime/manga NANA by Ai Yazawa. My boyfriend said that the character Nana Komatsu, whose nickname is Hachiko, reminded him of me. So he started calling me Hachiko, and the name stuck! I'm not going to complain, I think it's cute.
     At this point in time, I am attending Nassau Community College to obtain my degree in Medical Office Technology. I'm really not a big fan of school (okay - I downright hate it) but you gotta do what you gotta do. I'm trying to finish up as fast as I can. My main goal right now is to graduate, come out of school with a very well paying job, and move into an apartment of my own.
     I currently have a part time job making deliveries for a pharmaceutical company. I deliver things like medicines, shampoo, cases of water, and whatever else the pharmacies need on a daily basis. I may be small, but I can do some serious heavy lifting!
     Between school and work, I can't be as fashionable and cute as I'd like to be all the time. It just isn't practical right now. But when I do have the opportunity, I try my best!
     So now you know a little about me.
     In this blog you'll find more about the cute, fun, fashionable me. It's a place for me to talk about clothes, make up, shopping...really, whatever else I deem fit. I'll try to fill every post with pictures.
     So I'm challenging myself to take more pictures on a daily basis (basically becoming a camwhore) and to post regularly. Look forward to it!
